Car crash

yesterday, I was in a car crash, and am too messed up to do much.

I was in a truck, and was T-boned by a cop, and the truck rolled.
Now, I'm on some muscle relaxer, and am feeling pretty good right now.

that'sall for today.

Resident Evil 3

I just started playing it today, and it seems alright.

I got off to a bad start, running out of ammo pretty quick, but all in all, fun game.

Playability 7/10
Graphics 7/10

Once again, I'm back

Well, spring break ended uneventfully, and I've been under a lot of stress lately.

A couple of things notable happened recently, one being I got a new controller.
Second, I'm joining the Job Corps, hopefully giving me enough cash to buy what I need and to start my career into computer repair and software design.

I haven't been really dedicated to my blog recently because of the aforementioned changes, but I hope that will change soon.

I decided to read a bit, and watch a couple of good movies to relieve the stress, and so far it's working.

Any good movies/series you'd recommend?

Also, once I get enough money to afford the processor, I'll get right back to playing more games.

Spring break

Things have been hectic lately, not leaving me much free time to test many things. First off, my controller broke, not allowing me to play some very controller friendly consoles such as Playstation and Gamecube. Second, the new processor i want to order, i dont have the cash for right now. And Lastly, spring break is over. It may be a while until i can start testing games again. until then, au revoir.

The tragedy in Japan

While most people would be contented just talking about their blogs about now, id like to take a minute to hope that the people in Japan are o.k.

Well, I'm back.

I just recently had my internet turned back on, so i'm just here to say so.

If you can, post some lesser known games that you think people should know about.

Ive been busy.

A while ago i posted that my internet was gone, and it still is. But its left me a lot of time to be playing more games.

Over this past week i've been playing Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. The game ends after year three, and i'm at year 2 3/4. One of the interesting things about this game is the fact its not just a perfect farming simulation, but its almost a dating simulation. Albeit without the details. If you've got some time to kill, i suggest you play this game.

A CHALLENGER APPEARED

Have any games, emulators you want me to test? Drop me a comment with the name, and it will be done.
Any games you'd recommend?

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Part 2)

Part 2

Need to get to the castle. Owl talks for like 5 minutes, press b.

Haul ass across hyrule field to get to town before it closes, make it, was dark anyway.

Go to the castle courtyard to wait til day. Go back top town, meet Malon, Get intentionally thrown out.

Meet Malon again, given cucco egg, sneak by guards, egg hatches, wake up talon, move boxes, sneak by more guards,

Get to courtyard, meet Zelda, llisten to her dream, (look into window for and easter egg) see Inga,

says go to kakariko village, leave hyrule, go to lon lon ranch, win talons super cucco contest, get milk.

learn epona's song, go to tower in back for heart piece, leave to kakariko.

catch chickens, get another bottle, go to graveyard, far back play zelda's lullaby, go down hole,

kill bats, go through door, read, learn sun's song. exit kakariko village.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Today I decided to nostalgia a but and dig out an old classic. This game was commonly regarded as the best game on the N64, along with Goldeneye.

I turned on my console to the familiar spinning "N" logo, started a new game, and put in my name.
Blah, blah, blah, long intro, don't kick me about this because i have watched it before.
Go outside, Saria greets me, Great deku tree, Miku blocks the way, sword and shield
5 minutes of digging around for rupees later...
bought shield, obtained sword, Miku let me by, fight deku sticks.
Great deku tree is sick, needs my help.
10 minutes inside him doing puzzles, fight Gohma, win.
Long story about the creation of Hyrule, Ganondorf is evil, cursed him, was gonna die all along.
(why'd you make me do all that in the first place then?)
Get Spiritual stone.

End of part 1

So you want to get in on this?

If you want to be part of the emulation gamers out there there's no better place to start.
For those that don't know, Emulation = copying what something else does. In other words, your computer is "copying" what another system does, like play gameboy.

There's only one golden rule when it comes to emulation:
DO NOT ASK FOR GAMES OR WHERE TO GET THEM. Google is your friend pal.

On to the websites.

Dolphin - Gamecube/Wii*
http://www.dolphin-emulator.com/

Visualboy Advance - Gameboy/Advance
http://www.vba.ngemu.com

NO$GBA - DS/GBA Link Cable Emulator
http://nocash.emubase.de/gba.htm

ePSXe - Playstation
http://www.epsxe.com/

PCSX2 - Playstation 2*
http://www.pcsx2.net/

*Don't expect perfect gameplay unless you have one of the best PCs or Macs out there.

Pikmin

Ha ha, I heard about this game some time ago, but never had the motivation to get it or play it, seeing as i was still in the N64 phase.

Pros: good puzzlework, decent graphics, cute characters.
Cons: none i can mention at the moment.

Currently i've gotten 4/30 parts. i get about 8-12 fps. but due to the non action type of game, it doesnt bother me.

all in all, get this game if you're a puzzle fan.

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

As long as i've been playing this game, i though i would have gotten farther. its been about 6 hours now. lost as fuck. 6 fps is not the speed to play a game at. its playable but just barely. looks like im going to have to wait until i order my new processor. ill keep this updated.

Dolphin (Gamecube/Wii)

This emulator varies based on the game you're playing, and the specs of your system.
But on the bright side, i originally had an early revision 4471 to be exact, then updated to the most recent one, to find a HUGE speed improvement. But like i said, it varies.

Games Tested:

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GC)
Super Smash Bros Melee
Pikmin
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
 Super Smash Bros Brawl

ePSXe

A decent plugin-based emulator.
Has a couple of flaws, but it's to be expected. Disk switching issues, and some minor graphics issues. But that's all.

Games Tested:

Metal Gear Solid
Final Fantasy VIII
Azure Dreams
Chrono Trigger
Harvest Moon
Eternal Eyes

Visualboy Advance

This emulator is probably the best of the Gameboy Advance family.
Games tested:

Pokemon Emerald
Advance Wars
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town
